Fine artist specialising in botanicals in oil

Victoria is a self taught artist with a love for botanicals and beautiful, high quality art work. Originally from the United Kingdom, Victoria now lives in Tuscany, Italy.

Victoria graduated in conservation and restoration in the UK and then worked for 7 years as a freelance conservator in the churches and stately homes of Great Britain. It is here she practiced various decorative techniques, including gilding and decorative plasterwork. Impressed by the interiors of Italian and French inspired stately homes, Victoria wanted to experience the original influences of British architects and live among the artwork of her renaissance heroes.

In 2013 she decided to move to Florence, Italy and pursue her career as a full time artist. At first she stayed in B&Bs, then upgraded to a room in a riverside apartment after which she moved out of Florence to the countryside near Pistoia. She currently lives among the olive groves of the rolling Tuscan hills.
